Woodward to pay up for Gareth Bale to complete Man United’s front three

Are Manchester United going to sign Gareth Bale this summer?

According to the Sunday Times, Man United’s efforts to land Bale seem to be revving up.

Bale was the hero in the 2018 Champions League final. The Welsh star came off the bench to score a match-winning double for Real Madrid.

But immediately after the final whistle, Bale confirmed he needs more game time. The forward has signalled his intent to move on.

Bale has long been tipped with a move to Man United. And the Red Devils seem ready to make that happen. The Sunday Times report:

The transfer fee is expected to exceed £85m, while matching Bale’s personal terms at Real Madrid would place the 28-year-old on a par with Old Trafford’s highest earners.
