Liverpool and Egypt star Mohamed Salah has this evening taken to social media to post a photo of himself back in the gym, as the prolific winger continues his recovery from the injury he picked up during the Champions League final.
However, other outlets refuted this claim, with Salah himself having revealed in a Twitter post earlier this week that he is ‘confident’ in his chances of lining out for his country in Russia.
And, in another update across the African’s social media accounts this evening, Salah has posted a photo of himself back in the gym, already working on the left shoulder that was injured just 8 days ago:
