Gor Mahia withdraws players from the National team

Gor Mahia through its Chief Executive Officer Lodvick Aduda has written to the Football Kenya Federation to allow their players to rejoin the club ahead of the busy schedule.

The National team is preparing for the  Intercontinental Cup which will be in India and will have to do without Harun Shakava, Joash Onyango, Humprey Mieno, Francis Kahata, Phillemon Otieno, George Odhiambo and Boniface Oluoch. The seven are expected to join the side for the midweek league against Sony Sugar and the Super Cup ‘

Part of the letter read

“We write to appreciate the fact that national team coach found it appropriate to enlist the services of several of our team players in the current national team squad. We did release players as requested…” stated the letter.

“We wish to recall all the players to join the rest of the team immediately… to prepare for the forthcoming pending crucial league match scheduled for 30th May 2018 against SoNy in Kisumu.

“We wish to further state that in view of our pending Confederation Cup matches, the technical bench have advised that all players should be available for training and preparations as a unit,” read the piece done by Gor Mahia CEO.
