The Santos boss affirmed Barça’s enthusiasm for the Brazilian forward yet discounted any arrangement while the Catalan club still owe an obligation in connection to Neymar.
“There’s no gathering arranged with Barcelona, we have a procedure [open] against them to do with Neymar,” Perez clarified. “It would be untrustworthy on our part [to meet with them].”
Santos guarantee they are owed 14.5 million euros altogether from Barça with respect to the Neymar exchange.
The Brazilian club requested Barça paid them 4.5 million euros for a well disposed between the two clubs which never happened yet which was concurred as a feature of the Neymar bargain.
