Former West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has been speculated to be on the verge of taking over Chinas national team.
The 49 year old has been out of work since November after leaving West Ham United, but is likely to be open to opportunities during the summer.
According to reports, that chance could come on the international scene with the Chinese Football Association allegedly considering Bilic for their main seat in the dugout.
Bilichas been coach of Croatia, but the former defender has since held three club positions at Lokomotiv Moscow, Besiktas and the Hammers.
China are keen on building a team capable of competing on the world stage, with the Asian nation currently only sitting in 73rd spot in the FIFA rankings.
