Health Cabinet Secretary Sicily Kariuki has announced the commencement of routine screening of travelers at various international airports in Kenya.
The government has already installed thermal guns at these checkpoints to detect elevated temperatures.
All this happened after 17 people in northwest Democratic Republic of Congo have died from the disease. This outbreak is the ninth known outbreak of Ebola in the country.
