A court will give its verdict on Wednesday over the alleged of parents in the case where needles were find inside a baby’s body. Three witnesses, including the doctor who treated the baby and the officer who arrested the parents have testified before Thika Court Judge Brenda Bart in this case last month.The names of the witnesses are Dr. Kiprotich Ng’etich, Thika Children’s Officer Rebecca Kariuki, and Corporal Esther Wangu .
The parents of 15-month old baby Jane, Jacinta Ndunge and Isaac Gichure were accused of causing bodily injury to their daughter by inserting the needles into her buttocks. The two although claimed that they are not guilty, asking how could they cause harm to their own flesh and blood.
