Magoha stated that the government is in collaboration with external stakeholders give sponsorship to 9000 best performing candidates in the 2019 KCPE exams.
“Originally, we had intended to give these scholarships to 30 disadvantaged sub-counties, but in his wisdom this afternoon, the president has directed that part of those 9,000 scholarships must go to the cities,” said Prof George Magoha.
“We shall, therefore, ensure that we get a formula whereby a quarter of them go to the slums in Mombasa, Nyeri, Kisumu, Nairobi and other cities” he added.
For candidates, to get the scores, send INDEX NUMBER, followed by KCPE to 20076.
