Senate Majority leader has lashed out at KPLC telling them his people in Elgeyo Marakwet are great fans of the athlete adding it is unfair to deny the opportunity to watch their star.
“That’s not possible. @EliudKipchoge has been training in ELgeyo Marakwet which is the home of champions.
Elgeyo Marakwet is synonymous to Athletics. You can’t deny us, especially in Iten and environs the right to watch our heroes. Change your plans,” tweeted Murkomen.
Other Kenyans also expressed their reservations saying it was untimely since they will be watching the Kenyan star as he hopefully defeats the challenge.

This is so unfair, especially for the people of Iten who won’t be able to watch @EliudKipchoge run at 9:15am. Can’t they wait until after the race #INEOS159
