Nyayo national stadium has been reportedly opened for operations after a long spell of wait but most Kenyans are not happy with its new look.
A few changes have been noticed following photos which leaked on Thursday when Kenyan athletes were conducting their 2019 World Championship trials on the pitch.
However, majority of Kenyans still feel that the 30,000-seater facility which was closed down for renovation in 2017, is not properly done.
How will Nyayo Stadium host matches on Sunday yet it looks so bad from outside? is it complete?

Ehe. So following a series of stories on the pathetic state of stadiums in Kenya, Sports Kenya has moved to re-open a half-done Nyayo Stadium up for a league match this weekend. Good. We shall all see what you’ve been constructing for the last 32 months.

3 years later…. Nyayo stadium is still undergoing renovations.
The promises of its reopening keep changing now and then.MISC Kasarani is also in a sad state, TERRIBLE!
Just a national embarrassment… So What exactly does Sports Kenya do? @moscakenyaβ Danny Mutua (@Dannybenz2) September 10, 2019
On the other hand, a few football lovers could not hide their joy to see the stadium especially when it was announced that the Kenyan Premier League match pitting Kariobangi Sharks against AFC Leopards will be played at the venue.
