Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has told off Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru that leadership is not just about wearing six inch high heels and stealing NYS money. This is after news emerged that patients are running from Kerugoya Hospital for fear of contracting diseases in the facility.
According to claims, the hospital is very dirty and poses a health risk to patients.
But Kenyans are wondering why Moses Kuria should be the one attacking Waiguru using the NYS scandal when in 2015 he was caught on camera telling youths to slash anyone calling for the resignation of Waiguru over the NYS scandal?
Kenyans believe Kuria played a role in Waiguru’s political career since it is NYS scandal that propelled her to county politics.
Dear, @HonMoses_Kuria. You're the same person who retreated to your village in Gatundu and told inebriated youths to slash anyone calling for the resignation of @AnneWaiguru for plundering NYS funds. You're complicit in Anne Waiguru's political career. You must own up first. pic.twitter.com/AHDCGO4Wnr

In 2015, Raila demanded for the immediate resignation of then Cabinet Secretary but Kuria and DP William Ruto are among the people who defended her saying Raila should stop attacking women.
But when we were ejecting Waiguru from Public Service it was Moses Kuria who said we should be circumcised…it was him who declared war on us. How times change… pic.twitter.com/r1NobYeffC

The situation in Kerugoya is so pathetic that patients have been forced to seek services from the neighbouring Embu County.
After spending his first term as an MP defending Waiguru on the NYS theft, Moses Kuria now appears to agree with most Kenyans that indeed there was theft at NYS. He goes further to point the accusing ginger at queen bee & blames her for the filth in Kerugoya Hospital. It's 2029! pic.twitter.com/Qr3ehZQh6A

Waiguru has said she has formed a taskforce to clean the hospital but Kenyans are wondering why she had to wait for an expose from a local media station before swinging to action.
This is the current status of Kerugoya hospital as at 12pm today. However, you will agree with me that 346 casuals in addition to 300 medical staff, 50 data entry staff and other support staff is over staffing for a 200 bed capacity hospital.#KirinyagaRising pic.twitter.com/iKG41bmgL6

The governor has insisted that there are enough employees at the hospital who are not working. She said she is refusing to be derailed by political shenanigans of those inciting staff to go on a go-slow citing the removal of casual workers.
Ledama Olekina on Kerugoya hospital: I express my disappointment with governor Waiguru because during the devolution conference she kept on saying ‘Kirinyaga is rising’. In this case Kirinyaga is not rising rather falling down to the dogs #DayBreak
