A BBC Journalist has cheated death after narrowly escaping an early morning freak-accident in Nairobi.
The journalist who initially worked with the Nation Media Group found himself in a tight spot after the ‘nganya’ he was travelling to Nairobi in was involved in an ugly accident.
Peter Mwangangi, thanked God for narrowly escaping a date to heaven in the public service bus.
The bus is reported to have been overspeeding until it was involved in the accident, which left a couple of passengers injured.
What saved my life
Thankfully, the seasoned BBC reporter Mwangangi said that a seat-belt that he had on had saved him from an impending death in the ill-fated bus.
Journalists trooped to check on their colleague, Mr Mwangangi who assured them that all was well.
