Kenya Airports Authority has today commissioned two ultra-modern fire trucks at JKIA to meet the challenges and demands of the aviation sector.
This move was done as part of the efforts of revamping the airport’s rescue firefighting services.
KAA has made a strategic decision even as they continue to invest in training and equipping their firefighters with tools of work
“As technology in aircraft production increases other sectors of the industry like fire cover must also find updated technology that can serve the demand of the industry” said Jonny Andersen, MD KAA
The Managing Director also affirmed that JKIA has surpassed the regulatory requirements for fire cover requirements and also assured the public that their team can cope with any emergency likely to occur at the airport.
