Education CS Amina Mohammed has today hinted on the reviewing of University Programs. The CS was speaking during the 15th Convocation of the Aga Khan University.
The CS congratulated the graduands for their hardwork in search of knowledge and excellence. She also urged them to be delighted and step into the world of work with the same dedication they exhibited at the university.
“It takes knowledge to gain knowledge and the most educated people are not those who know everything, but those who know where to find information at a moment’s notice. Let us therefore use our acquired knowledge for the good of others and our communities.” she stated
She also noted that the Commission for University Education is reviewing the depth and substance of university programs to eliminate unit duplication and shallow course content.
The ministry of Education is also engaging partners to expand Kenya’s poor of intellectual-exchange with other high powered universities.
