Mercedes, who have dominated the F1 turbo-hybrid era by winning all the five seasons have on Wednesday launched a new car AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+.
The new car has an improved power unit and the car has been designed around new regulations aimed at making the racing closer by reducing the disruption caused to the aerodynamics of a car following another.

It is reported that work on the revamped Mercedes started 16 months ago, before the end of the 2017 season.
During the launch, the Team principal Toto Wolff said that they are “taking nothing for granted” this season.
“Every team can have a shot at the title and we’re seeing all of them as a potential threat,” Wolff said.
“There’s absolutely no feeling of entitlement to be at the front.”
He added: “The regulations have changed quite substantially.
“We have to start from scratch. We need to prove ourselves again – against our own expectations and against our competitors.”
Five-time and defending champion Lewis Hamilton aims to become just the second driver in history to win six world titles when the season start in Melbourne, Australia on March 17.

“2018 was a great year, but I feel like 2019 can be even better,” Hamilton said. “I want to achieve more. I want to continue to keep pushing.”
“The buzz really starts at the beginning of the year when you see the car coming together. And then you get to the shakedown and you get into the car – it just never gets old.”
His teammate, Valtteri Bottas, stays on as his partner for a third season, but is not yet secure beyond 2019, with the Finn keen to rebound from a disappointing 2018 when he failed to win a race.
“I’m going to go all in this year,” said Bottas. “There was quite a bit of criticism at some stages of 2018, but that’s actually been a positive thing for me because it’s given me an extra boost!”
