Ivorian striker Ephrem Guikan has parted ways with Gor Mahia on a mutual agreement with the club, the club has confirmed.
The striker has hard minimal playtime this season and his future at the club was unclear following the arrival of Dennis Oliech who has joined Jacques Tuyisenge and Eric Ssekisambu.
The developments of the players exits were confirmed to Gor Mahia website by club official Sally Bolo.
“Guikan requested to leave and as a club, we have to respect that. We had a mutual agreement and we have given him the release letter as per regulations,” Bolo said.
Guikan is reported to be heading to a club in Zambia and his departure will mean the number of foreign players have reduced to four at Gor Mahia.
