BBC Journalist Larry Madowo has warned Kenyans over a fraud who uses his name at his gain.
The alleged conman, Wilkings Odinga Fadhili identifies himself as the founder and chief strategist at Brand Lab Africa.
The man on his facebook page frequently posts photos of him posing with top celebrities and shares messages of his brand strategy.
Madowo yesterday blasted him saying that he does not know who Fadhili is and has never met him.
Other celebrity who have publicly complained for using their name in the ‘name’ of brand building are Team Elani.
The man is apparently popular among Kenyans as many shared that he is the same man behind the story of how chapati paid for his masters degree in the UK.
Elani and Madowo have however distanced themselves from ever working with him.
In his yesterday’s post, Larry Madowo said that he is going to take legal action over the matter.
Fadhili however jumped in to defend himself saying his former social media manager was the one behind that scam.
Madowo however blasted him saying that he was trying to lie. Fadhili took on his twitter page thereafter to draft a long apology message.
This is what he said..
I’m deeply sorry @LarryMadowo and to all those people that I’ve hurt I’m really sorry and please I pray you find in your hearts the courage to forgive me , I’m really sorry, I’m taking an initiative from today to be a better man and make the world better than the way I found it.
You know that’s a lie. Try again
