The 4th of January happens to be one of those not so bright days for the Odingas as they commemorate the anniversary of their son Fidel Odinga.
Fidel was the firstborn of Mama Ida Odinga and Hon. Raila Odinga who passed away four years ago.
It is never the best thing for a mother to bury her child, to remember her son Mama Ida penned down a sweet tribute where she referred to her son as a protective brother, a doting father and a loyal friend.
While taking to her twitter account she posted a picture of her son accompanied by a message of love.

She further admitted that her life had been hit hard by his death and she is yet to get over the pain of losing him.
Still in the month of January, the family lost a father and a grandfather Oginga Odinga close to 24 years ago.
Here are some messages from friends of Mama Ida
May God rest his soul in peace and grant favour to the family. ??

A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth. Have peace Mother ?
