The two were since arrested and even presented to the court and the court decided to retain them.
This action especially the one by the President to intervene on the matter has really upset the top activist Boniface Mwangi. The activist claims the boys represent the upset Kenyan society.
The activists rather argues that the President should re focus on fight against corruption and the top government officials who are always on the wrong.

Boniface Mwangi even recalls the incidents of children being teargassed because they demonstrating for the action of their school land which was on the verge of being grabbed.
He even recalls the Moi’s era which he terms as dictatorial but never arrested school children.
Boniface Mwangi feels that the issue of disciplining children should be left with the parents. Do you agree with Boniface Mwangi on this?
