Ghanaian boss Kwesi Appiah is impressed with debutant Emmanuel Boateng performance during their 2-0 win over Japan in a friendly match played on Wednesday.
Boateng scored the second goal from the penalty spot in their 2-0 win over the Blue Samurai’s and Appiah believes that the Levante star had his chances which he utilized.
“I think Emmanuel Boateng had a lot of time to prove what he can do but in the case of Kwasi Okyere he didn’t have much time but he was able to impress. I think the two of them did well especially Emmanuel Boateng” Coach Appiah told 442.com
Ghana will face Iceland next Thursday.
