Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is likely to leave the club next summer after the Gunners withdrew the offer of a new deal.
The four-year agreement was in place but before a final contract was drawn up, Arsenal pulled out.Ramsey’s existing contract expires on 30 June 2019 which means the 27-year-old will become a free agent next summer – unless he is sold in January. As things stand, the Welshman will also have the option of signing a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club from 1 January.
He is Arsenal’s longest-serving player and scored the winning goals in the 2014 and 2017 FA Cup finals.
The new development has left the Arsenal fanbase divided on the Welshman’s status as a club great..
Not top notch..
Aaron Ramsey has never been top notch or even a fit for Arsenal…am glad Unai Emery has finally seen it🤷🏼♂️…the lesser the British players in attacking positions the better the team🔥🔥🔥#GoGunners🦅

Respect..
If Ramsey does play today, he better not get booed. This must not happen at all for the time he has left at Arsenal. He's a legend so give him some respect.

Legend..
If players like Charlie George, Kevin Campbell and Liam Brady are counted as Arsenal legends, Aaron Ramsey is a bigger legend than them all. Yer Da twitter fuming.

Sorry to disappoint certain people but I’m going to have to agree with the fact that no player is greater than Arsenal. From what I’ve read, everything was agreed upon, and Ramsey’s agent tried to squeeze just a bit more out of the club. I’m glad Arsenal stood their ground. 👌🏻
