It is on a lovely Thursday and the political intrigues in the tax bill of 2023 are still taking the country by storm.

But even as this continues, Defence CS Aden Duale was on Thursday, at a local Tv station to give more insights into his viral book ‘For The Record’ which he will soon launch.

While at citizen tv, Duale revealed that President Uhuru Kenyatta has not been invited to the launch of his new book set to take place on Thursday.

The book is set to graced by President William Ruto and will be attended by other dignitaries. Duale said former President Kenyatta has of late become temperamental and that he might disrupt his event.

Duale reveals why he fell out with Raila

Despite this, he promised that he would deliver a copy of the book to Kenyatta, whom he has talked about in the book.

On why he fell out with Raila, Duale ran down memory lane claiming that Odinga betrayed him politically during the 2008 Grand Coalition government despite the former Garissa Township MP being his chief campaigner in the Northern Kenya region.

He said the former prime minister at the time and the late President Mwai Kibaki failed to appoint him to the Cabinet since they had chosen the late Mohamed Yusuf Haji as Defence Minister who hailed from the same district as Duale.
