Raila to Koome: I Will be at the Protest, Come Arrest Me; Inside Ruto’s Plot to Fix Raila & Gachagua Reports To Office Very Early In The Morning After Being Left In Charge

Azimio la Umoja coalition was on Saturday dealt a huge blow after Inspector general Koome declared their planned demonstrations illegal.

This comes days after the coalition which is led by former prime minister Raila Odinga made it clear that they intend to take to the streets every Monday and Thursday until President Ruto gives a response to their demands.

In response to Koome’s declaration, a section of Azimio leaders took to social media to criticize the police boss and the government for denying Kenyans to take part in peaceful demonstrations.

The opposition party leader emphasized the same, told his supporters that the demonstrations were still on, and dared Koome to arrest him during the Monday protest.

As Kenyans brace themselves for what Raila termed as the mother of all demonstrations, concern has been raised on how the head of state intends to deal with Raila and his supporters; whose demonstrations have been said to have a negative impact on the country’s economy.

President Ruto who pleaded with Raila to end the demonstrations is currently out of the country on a 5-day trip to Germany and Belgium.
