Good morning,
As a country, we have a lot of problems, ranging from poor leadership to an underwhelming economy despite the high taxation of citizens.
These are problems we have learned to adapt to since there is no better place than home, after all.
However, when living in Kenya becomes like living in a movie, we need to become wearier on our stability as a nation.
Over the past year or so, the things that we have been witnessing in the country seem like a script off a Hollywood horror/action film.
Couples are killing one another all over and dragging their children to the grave alongside them, while sons have turned against their parents, butchering them like wild animals.
Children are being kidnapped and killed if ransom demands are not met, and now, goons execute drive-by assassinations in broad daylight!
The scariest thing here is how quick we are to forget such heinous acts after discussing them for a few hours on social media.
Who will come to our aid, and where is our super Security Minister Fred Matiang’i?
Here are the stories making headlines on Opera News today:

The DP has said he will run for President on the United Democratic Party after being shoved out of the ruling Jubilee Party.
Fact Check: Photo Showing Joe Biden, Barack Obama Holding Portrait of William Ruto Is Fake
An image was shared on social media purporting to show former United States President Barack Obama and President Joe Biden holding a portrait of Deputy President William Ruto.
The image was seemingly meant to show that the two powerful men had endorsed Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid as Obama’s mask was labeled ‘vote’.
The image was shared on the social network by former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe on November 7, 2020, shortly after Biden was declared the president, with the caption ‘Next’.
