While the ravaging coronavirus has taken a toll and rendered the globe into total disarray, football talks have not been silenced as social media provides a good platform whilst social distancing rule is maintained.
The Premier League was temporarily halted in March to prevent the spread of the historic pandemic, which was first reported in China last year in December.
And the league is set to resume next month, a few days before the transfer summer is opened. Manchester United have their plans to revamp the squad with some big names being their target in the summer.
But fans are still confused whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hand Odion Ighalo a permanent transfer. The Nigerian joined United on loan from Shangai Shenhua China in January, and was impressive in the few matches he played for the Red Devils.
However, Solskjaer’s bid to hold Ighalo at Old Trafford reached an impasse with Shanghai Shenhua demanding he returns for the new Chinese Super League season.
But for curiosity purpose, a Twitter user wanted to know from fans how beneficial Ighalo was for the Old Trafford side.

This sparked a heated debate as fans gave a variety of answers. Check out some of their reactions;
4- missed 3 sitters vs Chelsea Watford and Everton and scored a few goals vs shit teams. If it was Lukaku everyone would want his head

3, done fuck all in the league, but because he’s scored against a few farmers he’s good enough for this club according to this fanbase, shouldn’t be bought permanently under any circumstances.

10/10
We bought him to cover for Marcus Rashford, he did way more than that.

This lockdown is really doing me wrong, everyone is saying 5 starts but I can only remember 3 and I know he hasn't started a premier league game 🤔

What's the other 2?— prettyboydon't (@TeD_Phantom) May 14, 2020
Not fair, the man hasn’t even started a game in the league. In 4 league games he has played a combined 31min.

It was speculated in March that United were ready to splash £15m for a permanent move, while Ighalo himself admitted he wanted his time extended at Old Trafford, a club he has supported since childhood.
