Akothee aka madam boss is going through a hard time after both her father and one of her daughters were hospitalized two days ago.

The famous musician announced the news of her father’s hospitalization two days ago on her Instagram page asking her fans to keep her family in their prayers.

Just a few moments ago, she penned down a sweet message to her father thanking him for raising her well.

“I come from A kingdom with a proper background, in my family,we have no malice, we were brought up properly, in a disciplinary seventh day home. Going to church on Saturday was a must. I thank my parents for proper upbringing,” read part of her caption.

She then went on to advise parents to invest in their children just as her father invested in her.
“Bwana AJOS TINGA MOTIII JOSHUA OWINO KOKEYO,TINGANA. MY DAD INVESTED IN HER CHILDREN. HE SECURED HIS FUTURE, INVEST IN YOUR CHILDREN TOO.SO THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF YOU WHEN YOU ARE OLDΒ @joshuaowinokokeyo,” she wrote.

It remains unclear what circumstances led to her father’s hospitalization but it is something keeping Akothee awake at night.

It is not the first time he has been hospitalized as last year Akothee was forced to cancel Turkana charity drive due to the same.

”I regret to say that I am unable to make it to Turkana this week due to unavoidable circumstances. My dad has been taken ill. It was a lovely evening and we were just talking about our next show and laughing at how he catches feelings when Foky Mopao steal his charger, Cebbi Coks Nyasego had just came in and my mum prepared food for him, he did not finish his food, there was a moment of silence and that is how we ended up in hospital, we are still here with my family. Get well soon Tingana. It’s gonna be a long night. We Love you,” she said.
