Arsenal will be one of the teams who will have a busy summer transfer window. The Gunners will be looking to trim their squad of expensively assembled flops, while also adding a bit of quality players.
Below, we look at the players to keep, sell and buy;
Keep
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is the best goal getter in the team but will enter the final year of his contact next month. Convincing him to sign a new contract should be one of the main business Arsenal need to take care of this summer.
Another player who needs to be kept at the club is Bukayo Saka, who like Aubameyang is in the final year of his contract from next month.
Sell
Alex Lacazette has not lit up the Emirates crowd as many would have hoped this season. His physical technique of play does not always match up especially in the English Premier League where physicality is the main mode of operation. He needs to go.
Rob Holding is yet to recover from his knee injury and looks like a player who needs a change of scenery. I bet not many Gunners would be sad to see him leave as would the calamity that is Mustafi.
Buy
A defensive midfielder has to be top of the list. Thomas Partey from the second best team in Madrid would be a very good candidate.
A center back would also be top priority for Mikel Arteta and it would be the scoop of the century if the team somehow manages to convince Kalidou Koulibaly to leave Napoli for London.
