Politician and member of parliament Millie Odhiambo stunned people on social media when her advice to Kenyan women went horribly wrong.

The outspoken legislator shared a tweet requesting women to educate their daughters on how they should care for their husbands.

It is our responsibility as Kenyan women to teach our daughters how to tend to their future husbands. ” read part of her tweet.

Known for seeking controversy, Millie added that God had an intended purpose in bring forth a man and a woman and people should embrace the dynamics brought forth by relationships.

It might appear unfeminine but God has a reason why we are women and they are men… We have to embrace nature and its dynamics. ” she added.

A section of Kenyans were not pleased with her statements saying they would not pass her message on.

One @edithmwirigi  wrote; “Come on mhesh! I shall not teach my daughter this! I won’t and will never. You should advocate for more than this . Yes a woman should be submissive but why should a man be given a chance to try another woman’s kindness out there? If he must, let him first set free his wife.

Millie was precise to her point and did not mince her words pointing out that her statement was meant to address men who practised their responsibilities.

Hallo Edith. You are one of the most outspoken and learned young leaders I know. I do agree with you mum. My status only applies to men who practice their responsibilities, offers an equal or better measure of love and are appreciative.” wrote Millie.
