16 more people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 336.
the 16 new cases are from Nairobi and Mombasa counties, which registered 11 and 5 cases respectively.
To date, a total of 16738 individuals have been tested for the deadly virus, with the number of deaths remaining at 14.

On the other hand, five more persons have been discharged, bringing the total number of recoveries to 95.
Of the 11 new Nairobi cases, five are from Dandora, two are from City Park, one is from Eastleigh, two are from Parklands, and one is from Pipeline.
All the new cases were registered in persons picked by the government surveillance team.
887 contacts are currently being monitored.
