Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus and PSG are all interested in signing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante according to the latest reports from Europe.
The Frenchman has endured a difficult 2019/20 campaign where he has struggled with injuries which have seen him miss most matches. Before the league was halted owing to the Corona-virus pandemic, he was sidelined with an ankle problem.
Despite the struggles, European giants have shown interest in signing him. It however will take something special to lure him away from London as last year he had reaffirmed his commitment stating that he is happy at the club and the city where he has settled in well.
Barcelona want to replace exiting Ivan Rakitic while Real Madrid are looking for Luka Modric’s replacement, Juventus are keen on letting Aaron Ramsey leave while PSG want to beef up their midfield. All the four clubs view the world cup winner as a player who will fit in easily.
Kante has been with Chelsea since 2017 when he moved to Stamford Bridge from Leicester City. He had played a pivotal role in City’s league triumph. The good run saw top clubs such as Manchester United and Arsenal express their interest, he however decided to move to Stamford Bridge.
At Chelsea, he has won a league title, the UEFA Europa League and FA Cup titles.
