Three Players Who Could Be Leaving Manchester United In The Summer

Despite football being on hold, the transfer world continues to spin with countless rumors linking players in and out f major clubs.

Manchester United is still in a rebuilding process under Ole Gunnar and that will continue this summer. There are few players who are expected to make an exit from the club once the season ends, whenever that is. Below, we look at three of these players.

Paul Pogba

The World Cup-winning midfielder has featured just eight times for the Red Devils this season due to an ankle injury. However, Pogba is hell-bent on leaving Old Trafford this season and his agent has communicated this countless times this season.

With Bruno Fernandes already in the team, Manchester United no longer struggles creatively without Pogba in the team and it would not be a surprise to see him leave at the end of the season.

Phil Jones

Jones is fully fit and ready to play but rarely does as his quality is no longer good enough for the record English champions. He is still under contract at the club though but that will change in the summer.

With Eric Baily and Harry Maguire already head of him, the center back will most likely find playtime even harder to come by should he be at the club next season.

Juan Mata

Juan Mata’s role this season has been reduced to bench appearances and the occasional start in the cup games.

Spanish clubs were circling around him in January but a move did not materialize. Expect him to move in the summer.
