President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a chilling message after Kilifi County Deputy Governor flagrantly violated quarantine regulations to expose residents to Coronavirus.
In his State House address Monday, March 23, the President vowed that his administration will see to it that such people receive “the severest action” for putting the lives of the other people at risk.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe revealed on Sunday, March 22 that the deputy governor who has been confined to a forcible quarantine is arrested and charged.

Gideon Saburi is reported to have travelled from Germany and tested positive for the novel virus before engaging in meetings that exposed members of his staff and residents to the virus.

In his Monday speech, President Uhuru Kenyatta also added that the Government will be rolling out a country-wide 4G network to assist in communications.
