ODM’s Director of Communications Philip Etale on Thursday praised Health Cabinet Secretary (CS) Mutahi Kagwe over his management of the Coronavirus pandemic that has so far seen 7 people infected.
While responding to a post by Roya Media Services Journalist who had congratulated the CS for his accuracy in handling the matter, Etale commented: “He has that background of Communication. A good man he is. Sharp and not bossy. Mtu wa watu.”
The RMS journalist, Steve Shitera, in his Facebook account had written: “Mutahi Kagwe is a Good Communicator. So far he has handled The Corona situation very well. The President must be proud of this guy.”
These positive comments from Kenyans come barely a month since CS Kagwe was sworn into office.
The CS took over from Sicily Kariuki who was moved to the Ministry of Water, Irrigation and Sanitation.
Before his appointment, CS Kagwe had served as Nyeri Senator for one term before opting for the gubernatorial seat in 2017 General Elections. He, however, lost to the late Wahome Gakuru.
