Photos of Kenyan Artist Who Got US TV Host Steve Harvey’s Recognition

A Kenyan pencil artist, Collins Omondi Okello has risen to fame after one of his pencil drawings went viral and got recognition from USA TV Host cum comedian Steve Harvey.
Collins found himself on the limelight after he shared the portrait of the US TV Host saying he hopes Harvey comes across it, and sure enough, the post went viral and caught the eyes of Harvey.
He went on and asked tweeters to help him tag Harvey.
“Complete! Pencil drawing of @IAmSteveHarvey Will be a real boost to my hustle if you have this in your gallery. Waiting with bated breath,” Collins wrote.
“Pencil drawing in progress of@IAmSteveHarveyby me, with love from Kenya. Help me tag him so he can see it. #steveharveypencil #JaduongArtWorks.”

And in his response, Harvey said that it would be his honor to have the portrait and hook up with Collins.

“Now I’m looking for you it would be my honor to have this …. what size is it and I’ll be in Joburgh and Botswana soon let’s hook up then,” Steve wrote.
The piece of art was a mugshot of Harvey complete with his signature mustache, smile, and wrinkled eyes.

Apart from Steve Harvey, Collins has also drawn public figures like Catholic Pope Francis, American actor Tyler Perry, KFCB CEO Dr. Ezekeil Mutua among others.
