#BBIInMeru: Kinoru Stadium in Pictures, Gideon Moi Attends

Thousand of Mt Kenya residents thronged Kinoru Stadium, in Meru County, on Saturday to attend the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) rally that is set to unveil myriad of issues that people from central region want to be covered in the BBI report.

Representatives of the residents from Laikipia, Meru, Nyeri, Murangá, Kiambu, Tharaka Nithi and Nyandarua counties were ferried to Kinoru Stadium.

Besides, residents of Nairobi were also represented by delegates who were ferried to Meru County.

Governors Ann Waiguru (Kirinyaga), Kiraitu Murungi (Meru), Mutahi Kahiga (Nyeri), Mwangi Wa Iria (Murangá), James Nyoro (Kiambu), Muhome Njuki (Tharaka Nithi) Francis Kimemia Nyandarua) and Laikipia Governor  Ndiritu Muriithi led the Mt Kenya region towards the BBI course.

On Friday, ODM leader Raila Odinga joined delegates at the Mt Kenya BBI Conference Meru County where the region highlighted its grievances which they want to be addressed.

Gideon Moi, who is still mourning following the death of his father and Kenya’s Second President Daniel Arap Moi, was confirmed by KTN News that he will be present at the rally.

Former Kiambu Governor Wiliam Kabogo, for the first time in a BBI rally, will attend too.

Tanga Tanga leaders, allied to Deputy President William Ruto, will also attend.
