Kenyans were filled with frustrations after one of the best Chinese restaurants was forced to close down. The hotel, China Plate, which was located at Chancery Building has been operating in Kenya for 25 years.
Without further explanation, a notice was hanged at the hotel’s entrance passing the message that the hotel will no longer be on the operation.
“Dear Patrons, we are sorry to inform you that the China Plate (Chancery Building Ltd), will no longer be in operation. We thank you for your patronage. Management,” read the notice.
Although it was assumed that the deadly Coronavirus could be behind the reason for it going down, Kenyans were not happy as they went ahead to share their best experiences in the hotel.
What is Chancery without China Plate(: Many good times had there, thanks Shamir.
