Style up! ODM Senator Hits Back at Moses Kuria Over Raila’s Meeting With Maasai Elders

An Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) lawmaker has hit back at Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria over his controversial remarks on ODM party leader Raila Odinga’s meeting with Maasai Community elders.

Moses Kuria on Wednesday evening alleged that Raila kicked out non Maa speaking MCAs and MPs from the meeting that was held at Maasai Lodge in Narok on Monday February 17, 2020.

Through a facebook post, Mr Kuria said that one of his colleagues had given him the news about the unfortunate incident that happened ahead of Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) meeting.

The seemingly disappointed Kuria cautioned President Uhuru Kenyatta on his relationship with the former premier, whom he accused of being a leopard in a sheep’s skin.

“Just received the unfortunate news from my colleagues that Raila Odinga chaired a preparatory meeting at Maasai Lodge Hotel for the Narok BBI rally and ordered the non Maasai MPs and MCAs from Maa Counties of Narok, Kajiado and Samburu to leave the meeting. I thought BBI is for inclusivity and uniting Kenyans. Dear H.E President Kenyatta. This is Raila Odinga for you. This leopard remains the same, has never changed a single spot. It was dangerous, it is dangerous and it will remain dangerous for peace and stability of this nation. Caveat Emptor !” he posted.

But the seemingly angry Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has hit back at Mr Kuria, telling him to stop peddling lies.

Senator Ledama argues that when President Kenyatta held a meeting in Sagana and addressed it in Kikuyu, no one complained.

He says there should be no complains when Raila holds a meeting to reconcile the Maasai community leaders.

Ledama further argues that when Deputy President William Ruto invites his tribemates to Weston Hotel to discuss Kalenjin issues, no one complains.

“All those bashing me CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH. When Uhuru held a meeting in Sagana and addressed it in Kikuyu no one complained! When Ruto invites his tribes mates to Weston Hotel to discuss Kalenjin issues @kipmurkomen does not through tantrums! So juvenile!” he tweeted.

“When @RailaOdinga reconcile Maasai Leaders it’s a crime! @HonMoses_Kuria style up! You can peddle all the nasty rumors you want to but the truth will always set us free!” Senator Ledama said in another tweet.
