Ruto Ally’s Prophecy for Kiambu After DCI’s Summon of Tangatanga Blogger

State House digital strategist, Dennis Itumbi, on Wednesday, mocked the Directorate of Criminal Investigations  (DCI), after the institution summoned a pro-deputy president William Ruto blogger, for prophesying the DP’s rise to power in 2020.

According to Itumbi, Dennis Kiptoo Mutai was ordered to report to the DCI for questioning, after he shared a portion of a framed presidential portrait, bearing Ruto’s details.

”The 5th president of the Republic of Kenya his Excellency Hon. William Samoei Kipchirchir Arap Ruto, and Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces,” read the controversial ”artistic” piece.

Kiptoo then shared another photo of the DP, captioning him once again as the fifth president of Kenya.

An agitated Itumbi noted that the DCI had stooped too low in summoning the blogger, who is based at Kericho, at a time the country had bigger problems to deal with.

”How idle can an institution faced with more serious issues be?” Itumbi wondered in a morning tweet, that was followed hours later with a prediction that the wife of a former Kiambu politician was about to be named the incoming deputy governor of Kiambu County.

Itumbi’s post was a subtle mockery of the DCI infringing on the right of Kenyans to hold opinions, even about future occurrences.

”Joyce Wanjiku Ngugi, widow of former Gatundu South MP, John Ngugi, most likely to be named Kiambu DG. Nothing serious. Just a prediction. The type  @DCI_Kenya is telling us is a crime,” Itumbi tweeted.
