Mukomen Exposes Plan Used to Set-Up Ruto in 40 Billion Gun Scandal

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Wednesday afternoon laid bare crucial information regarding the Ksh39.5 Billion scandal facing Deputy President William Ruto.

According to Murkomen, there was a plan to set Ruto in the scandal, but fortunately, he was not in his Harambee Annex Ofice when the said mercenaries paid him a visit.

The two investors named Mustafa Lofty and Stanley Kozlowski, he says, did not access Ruto’s office but instead signed the multibillion contract in a waiting room.

In a bid to prove that the DP is innocent, Murkomen said that no investor can sign a contract of such a huge amount of money without a company of a lawyer or witnesses.

The legislator went ahead to order for the arrest of the two investors and a probe into their immigration status.

He shifted the accusations to the ministry of defence claiming that the two investors were a project of someone from the security sector.

Other than the two foreign investors, Daniel Otieno Omondi alias General Juma, Clifford Okoth Onyago and Kennedy Oyoo Mboya have been named in the scandal.

Murkomen claims that the three suspects are people who are well known to the security sector and may have been used to set up the Deputy President.

Since the arrest of former sports cabinet secretary Rashid Echesa, the Director of Criminal investigations has launched a serious probe into the matter.

This includes questioning members of staff at the Harambee Annex and collecting CCTV footages for investigation.
