Ringtone has always tried staying relevant in the entertainment industry.
He revealed in an Interview with Radio Citizen that the gospel artiste has lost his shine ever since he began his reality TV show, Being Bahati and collaborated with secular Gengetone boy group, The Boondocks gang.
“Bahati alipoteza nyota kitambo. Ukiangalia ile reality TV show yake ya Being Bahati yote anayofanya ni fake, he added.
The Tenda Wema hitmaker also said that Bahati needs to soul search himself and go back to his Christian roots since he seems to have backslid.

Bahati’s year has not started well since he has been receiving troll after troll. He featured popular Gengetone group Boondocks in a new song and he received negative backlash from his fans.
The award-winning artist was also attacked for arresting Peter Blessing. He was charged for obtaining 2 million from an EMB producer Kevin Kioko. He pretended to produce music videos with the record label, EMB but when the time came for him to deliver his work it was reported he disappeared allegedly.
Another thing that has made Kenyans more angry about him is the Being Bahati reality TV show. Online fans have been complaining they are faking it and their show needs to be scrapped.
It’s clear that something is not alright and maybe Ringtone is right.
