Elders Want Moi to Be Buried at Night, Ruto: Moi Locked Me Out of his Gate & Larry Madowo Rushed to Hospital

Good morning,

Daniel Arap Moi, in his own wisdom, has decided to give us a public holiday we didn’t ask for and which certainly we don’t deserve owing to the fact that February is a very short month.

Moi will go down in history as the first Kenyan to give us two different public holidays in one year. To add icing to the cake, we have been told to plant a tree in his honour.

The government did not specify which type of tree we should plant. This means you can plant your tree in the other hole and maybe make a small Moi.

February being the month of love, a public holiday provides an opportunity to mourn Moi with your better half. There is no crime if you moan in the process of mourning.

However, you have to do it responsibly, every action has a reaction.

Today is a very sad day for the families of the 14 Kakamega Primary School pupils. A requiem mass for the victims at the Masinde Muliro Stadium in Kakamega. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families during these trying moments. May perpetual light shine on their way.

Here are the stories making headlines:

However, since Moi was a staunch Christian, his religion will be respected. There will be a few compromises, however.
