Moses Kuria ‘Foils’ Plot to Attack Tangatanga Leaders in Next BBI Rally

Embattled Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has foiled an alleged plot by goons to attack him and members of DP Ruto-allied Tangatanga leaders during the February 15 BBI rally in Meru.

Taking to his social media, Kuria posted an alleged message by an informer forewarning him against attending the rally without speaking to one Mike Makarena.

In the message, Makarena is described as the ‘Chief goon’ in Meru who is set to coordinate the purported humiliation of Tangatanga MPS should they set foot in the rally.

This comes after Kuria was almost ejected out of a BBI meeting in Kitui after he walked towards other podium where leaders had taken their seats.

Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu would direct security officers at the function to eject Kuria out before he reportedly pleaded with them to return him to the dais.

DP William Ruto condemned the act of ejecting Kuria from the rally, saying it only served to roll back the democratic gains made over decades.
