Tv Presenter who doubles up as a gospel singer Kambua Manundu has today sent a sweet message to her husband Jackson Mathu for being patient through her season of childlessness. The couple had been married for 7 years before they welcomed their first child Nathaniel Muhoro.
Taking to her Instagram page, Kambua praised her husband for loving and defending her even when people threw insults at her.
“When God gave me you, He knew exactly what I needed. You have loved me, defended, and protected me. You spoke life to me even when curses & insults were piled on me” she wrote
In a previous interview, the TV presenter had opened up about her struggles revealing that the pressure and insults threw her into depression.
According to Kambua her husband never made her feel less of a woman for being unable to bear children.
She also added that Jackson was very supportive throughout the difficult season and made her feel enough.
“You constantly reminded me that I am your companion, and I am enough. But you also reminded me that God promised to fill our quiver, and I now watch in awe as He has begun to fulfill His promise,” she stated
The mother of one says that getting a child after such a long wait is indeed proof of God’s way of fulfilling his promises. She also expressed optimism in getting more children with the love of her life.
Kambua who describes her motherhood experience as a miracle has since embarked on a journey to encourage other mothers who have been waiting to be blessed with a child.
