Mutahi Ngunyi’s Advice to Uhuru over ‘Rogue’ Bahati MP

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has come to the rescue of President Uhuru Kenyatta from public humiliation by Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri after the political brawl got personal.

In a tweet, Mutahi advised President Kenyatta to cease his exchanges with MP Ngunjiri as they were ‘dragging the President to Ngunjiri’s level.’

“If you CLIMB DOWN to fight a STUPID man at his LEVEL, he will BEAT you. He has MORE Experience at STUPIDITY than you! Is this the “Kimani Ngunjiri” EFFECT?” read the tweet.

Tuesday, the firebrand MP skipped a meeting led by President Kenyatta to commission a Cement factory in Nakuru County.

He would in an interview chide President Kenyatta for calling him names in his own Constituency despite having campaigned for him in 2017.

MP Ngunjiri has had run-ins with President Kenyatta since the controversial March 9, 2018 truce with Raila Odinga.

The MP now allied to Deputy President Dr William Ruto has opened a war front with the President in a political war that has seen him lose his guns.

The tough-talking Jubilee has even challenged President Kenyatta to step down if he becomes overwhelmed by political brawls.

Weeks ago, President Kenyatta locked out Ngunjiri, Senator Kihika and a host of other leaders regarded to be opposed to the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
