Tanga tanga Discussed Uhuru’s Impeachment in Naivasha – Junet Mohamed

Just a day after leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto concluded their 2-day retreat at Naivasha,  a section of ODM party leaders have come out to criticise the team.

Addressing the press on Tuesday afternoon, the leaders led by Suna East Junet Mohamed claimed that the meeting was not only about the BBI but also discussing on how to impeach President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Junet alleged that the leaders were collecting signatures which were going to use in impeaching Uhuru.

The vocal legislator challenged the MPs to bring the motion into the floor of the house, promising to thrash it completely.

“And one of the agendas they discussed in Naivasha other than the BBI was the impeachment of the president. We are ready for them. Let them bring it to parliament. We are aware they were collecting signatures to bring into the house to impeach Uhuru. They are too small and lack numbers…” stated Junet.

Homa Bay County Woman Representative Gladys Wannga told off Tanga tanga leaders stating that they did not have numbers to carry on with their intentions.

According to Wanga, the Tanga tanga leaders lied to the nation that there were more than 150 elected leaders who attended the Naivasha meeting.

While challenging the team to publish the names of all the leaders who attended the function, Wanga revealed that only 73 leaders attended the two-day meeting.

She added that the only BBI recognized by the whole country is the one initiated by President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga.

“I want to challenge them to publish all the names of the 176 members they claim were in attendance. There were barely less than 100 members present. There were only 76 members present. They should stop from confusing Kenyans by creating a notion that they have more members in their camp,” stated Wanga.

The leaders promised to shun away from all the meetings planned by Ruto allies.
