Man United Hand Winger a Lifeline

Manchester United has reportedly ruled out the possibility of striker Alexis Sanchez leaving the club permanently in the summer and wants him to prove his worth at Old Trafford.

The Chile international is currently on a season-long loan deal at Serie A giants Inter Milan and United initially wanted the deal made permanent at the end of the current campaign as they want to get rid of his 500k a week wages.
His time at Inter has equally been troubled. An injury and poor form for the club has seen his role in the team reduced to substitute appearances with reports indicating that he is equally getting frustrated in Milan.

With his deal with Inter due to expire in the summer, the former Udinese, Barcelona, and Arsenal man is set to return to Old Trafford to try and revive his career at his parent club.
Reports in the UK suggest that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is adamant that the forward can reestablish himself and pick the form that saw United initiate a swap deal involving Henrik Mkhitaryan in January 2018.
The Red Devils also have issues in their attack following an injury to Marcus Rashford and are looking to get a short-term fix this window.
