President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto held a secret five-hour meeting at Statehouse.

Reports indicated that Ruto was summoned to the premises by his boss through a phone call.

Information emerged that the emergency gathering was so crucial as no one else was allowed into the room the two were held up.

Further details disclosed that the key talking points centred around various issues that have hit the nation.

Uhuru and Ruto are proclaimed to have discussed over the impeachment saga surrounding Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu.

Prior to the conversation, Waititu awaits his fate which is set to be determined by the Senate on Tuesday.

The numerous wrangles within the Jubilee party that have led to the emergence of the Tanga Tanga and Kieleweke factions, was also brought up during the forum.

The way forward on the specified issue is yet to be established as information around the matter remained inadequate as reported by the Star.

The two members of the ruling party also sort a clear path on the BBI report which has heated up the political arena.

The report was a crucial topic at the meeting in regards to the latest development.

With the BBI campaign set to come to a close at the end of February, Uhuru and Ruto also conversed over the Jubilee party elections which will be their new mountain to climb.

The elections are alleged to provide clarity on the ongoing feud between the two leaders.

With claims of huge cracks within the ruling party which seem to be widening, the aftermath of the polls is proclaimed to provide the truth of which side the President will support.

The problem is as a result of the court order on Governor Mike Sonko in undertaking his duties.

The lack of a deputy governor since the resignation of Polycarp Igathe sent the city into confusion over who would, assume the roles of the country boss.

Last Thursday, during an interview on NTV, DP Ruto revealed that his participation in the BBI rallies was tied to President Uhuru.

The latest meeting just may have shown that Ruto was indeed telling the truth that he is just but a messenger to his boss.
