In a Facebook post, Babu has termed his misfortunes as occupational hazards that a politician should be prepared to face in his line of duty.

He went ahead to list some of the hazards and among them was the jail term he is currently facing.

Before he released this list, Owino had sent another message to his supporters and Kenyans at large informing that he had a new home.

In his message, the legislator hinted that there was another side of the story apart from what Kenyans knew and demanded justice to be served to him.

The accused, through his lead lawyer Cliff Ombeta had requested to be remanded in a police station but the request was denied.

Babu is facing two charges; attempted murder and behaving disorderly while carrying a firearm.

A case file was opened after the accused shot Felix Odhiambo alias DJ Evolve on Friday at Nairobi’s B-club.

The victim suffered two gunshots on the neck and is receiving treatment at the Nairobi Hospital where Babu Owino took him after the shooting saga.
