Crisis in Nairobi as Elachi Rejects Sonko’s Deputy, Uhuru Backs Oparanya for Top Seat, Uhuru-Ruto Fight Over Waititu

Good morning,

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria will hold a press conference at Parliament today (Monday) to shed light on the macabre murder of former IEBC ICT Manager Chris Msando.

The controversial legislator claims that he is sick and tired of being linked to Msando’s death. Msando’s mutilated body was discovered in a thicket at Muguka forest in July 2017, barely days to the General Election.

Before the discovery of his body, Moses Kuria, then a diehard Jubilee supporter, posted a picture with Msando’s vehicle at Roysambu. He claimed the ICT guru was enjoying life with a slay queen as the rest of the country looked for him.

Kuria has previously threatened to slash Kenyans opposed to NYS projects. He previously warned NASA supporters that he would circumcise them. Last year, he wrote a resignation letter to National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi but changed his mind at the last minute.

It is not clear if the Msando’s expose is true or just one of his attention-seeking gimmicks.

As Kuria plans his press conference, another MP, Babu Owino, will be presented before court today. The first time legislator will be charged with attempted murder after he allegedly shot a DJ at a Club in Nairobi on Friday morning.

According to witnesses, Babu and the DJ were allegedly arguing about the size of their ‘guns’ but things escalated real quickly and the MP had to use a real gun.
