Former Arsenal Midfielder Urges Manchester United to Snub Bruno Fernandes for English Star

Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson has urged Manchester United to forget about signing Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes and instead shift focus to Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.

United are pursuing the Sporting man as they look to boost their midfield that has been one of the their weak areas this season.

Scott McTominay and Paul Pogba are out injured while Nemanja Matic is expected to leave the club in the summer highlighting the importance of additions in the middle of the park.

Grealish too has been linked with a move to Old Trafford and Merson believes that the Villains’ number 10 is a better fit for United that Bruno.

“Forget Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United should be trying to sign Jack Grealish.

“He is one of the top ten players in the Premier League right now. He is absolutely different class and would walk into almost any other Premier League team,” Mason said.

” Grealish would walk into the United team. Tottenham tried to get him not long ago and he’d walk into their team right now as well”.

The England international will cost any club interested in him around 40 million pounds.

Solskjaer is also keen on beefing up his attack with a number of strikers across Europe linked with the team.
